Ahem... this was a HOT one!!

Sophie, the Duchess of Calton's, husband Garrett

died seven years ago at the Battle of Waterloo leaving her alone and with child.

After many long lonely years she has found comfort in the arms of his best friend and cousin Tristan and they are married.

Garrett returns having suffered all those years from amnesia,

Now in a race to save her family from destruction, Sophie and her husbands

are caught up in a battle to save themselves from a Blackguard

who is bent on destroying them all.

It has been a long time since I've read a historical romance,

I used to eat them like gummi bears (which is a lot by the way).

But I found I got tired of what seemed to be the same formula

over and over again.

THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU'LL FIND HERE!!

I love how the heroine is in love with TWO men and it plays out very believable.

Sophie is also not your typical historical romance woman,

she's very strong, stronger that the male hero's even

and doesn't take any crap when it comes to taking care of her family!

Needless to say, I really enjoyed this one...

and um...

you might also want to make sure that there's someone around to um..

help you out with your needs while you're reading it...because it's pretty hot!

shhhhh....

This is the first book in what will be a series, so looking forward to what comes next!!
